Patience

November 11, 2012

I have spent the past 7 months learning patience and perserverance, while trying to close the sale of my Mother’s home .  On more than one occasion, I was ready to throw in the towel and give up on the mission, but an angel in my corner would not let me  quit.  We had a job to do, and together we made it through.  At last, the final papers were signed on Friday morning!

“Dear God, Thank you for keeping me together when I was falling apart.”  – author unknown

While the  major source of stress has been removed from my shoulders, I still have the laryingitis/bronchitis crud.  Still being patient!

  1. Congratulations and giving thanks to God that you have passed this sale hurdle. We had that with my mother-in-law’s house. I am right there with you with the bronchitis crud. And patience was the topic of a study just this week. God has a sense of humor. 🙂

  2. The upside of the bronchitis, and not talking is that I am doing more writing! I am also getting some much needed rest too. Taking lots of long naps and not feeling guilty about it! Just the other day, I saw a lady on a talk show, saying that sometimes we have to look at such illnesses that make us lay down and rest, as God’s plan to make us slow down. And so it shall be! Blessings to you and yours! Heading out to get new med’s, AGAIN! and then back to the couch.
